My Introduction
Hello new (and maybe some old) friends,
My name is Kitty Levesque, though you probably figured that much out from the fact that my name is plastered all over this lovely website. Why did I decide to add a blog element to my site? Well, that's a multipart answer. For one, I used to be a serial blogger; I thoroughly enjoyed working on it and I had a fair number of followers and readers. I stopped working on it right after I got out of high school (that gives you an idea of my age. I am indeed a millennial), and frankly I miss it. Writing is a pleasurable experience to me, though in my busy life it's something that I don't do as often as I would like. Since I have a lot of talking points that I think could potentially be interesting to add to the world of the interwebz, and I have this website, and I currently don't have the savvy to film high quality videos for youtube, I figured I might as well add this blog feature (holy run-on sentence!). I also figured that I happen to own a website with information that won't be changing too often, I might as well add an element to it that would be updated somewhat regularly. It adds a bit of pizzazz to a somewhat boring website. It brings people back. Maybe. If they find my ramblings at all interesting. Essentially my point to all of that mess back there is that I have a website I pay for so I might as well use it more often. My last thought about starting a blog was adding the human element to my character. Yes I want to book gigs, look good on stage and in photos, but I also want to prove that I'm an actual person who has actual opinions on things. And since some of you may be interested only in the pretty, pretty pictures and sexy, sexy hip bumps, I might as well stash my opinions over to the side; easily ignorable for those who are more interested in me as a business or a nameless face or whatever.
WHEW! Now that we got that nasty, long, rambling paragraph out of the way, and weeded out those who are uninterested in me as a person we can get to the good stuff.

"SO WHO IS THIS CRAZY BI..."
What an interesting question! A question that is near impossible to answer (considering it's damn hard thing to condense an entire person into a few interesting sentences).
WELL, outside of being a burlesque dancer, I'm firstly and formostly (I enjoyed typing that) I'm a student working towards my BFA in Fine Arts; I specialize in oil painting but I have dabbled in lots of mediums. Outside of school and burlesque, I have a job and a temporary internship that I don't feel comfortable talking about online- all you need to know about those aspects of my life is that they are enjoyable. My home life involves cuddling with my four cats (I know, I'm a cat lady), my dog Tucker and my mouse Gus. I'm engaged to the love of my life, affectionately known as Dus on my social media. I thoroughly enjoy makeup and hope to add licensed cosmetologist/makeup artist to my resumé. I'm also a passionate vegan an animal rights activist. Those are a few things that come to mind at the moment.
And what will I be blogging about? Burlesque, beauty, my life, planning a vegan wedding, and anything else I'm feeling like. Come along for the journey if any of this sounds at all interesting to you!
